Fun fact: Missouri's motto, "The Show-Me State," is derived from the fact that outsiders thought Missourians were so stupid they had to be shown how to do everything.

Missouri is home to the Get A Brain Morans guy.

There are a lot of pro-life billboards in Missouri. Moreso than Mississippi, even. From this I must conclude that people in Missouri are very loud and obnoxious. Also, the Arch is really not worth it. When you are sitting around near the Arch you have a nice view of the chemical processing plant across the river and the very ugly riverboat casino, propped up on sand.

St. Louis does have a nice zoo, though. And the art museum is on a very pretty old plot of parkland.
