Hello kind visitor! I'm working hard on this article. I mean, like, every day I think up new things I could add to it, then I scrap them before I even start typing. This is going to be the best article ever when I'm done with it. But right now it's kind of a mess. Sorry.

The National Animal Identification System is yet another attempt by the U.S. Congress to standardize CAFOs and put small family farms out of business.

According to Joel Salatin, a farmer named Bob Parker was kicked off the Missouri Farm Bureau for opposing NAIS. When Parker warned the person responsible for the expulsion that NAIS would be impossible for small farms to implement, he was reportedly told, "We don't need all those small producers anyway. What good are the doing for the industry?"
