  1. They are mentioned in the opening prayer! "Keep us compassionate toward our fellow citizens who are struggling for an identity."
  2. Michael Collins, who was circling the Moon during the landing: "We cannot launch our planetary probes from a springboard of poverty, discrimination, or unrest."
  3. Neil Armstrong gives the most startling pronouncement: "In the next 20 centuries, the age of Aquarius of the great year, the age for which our young people have such high hopes, humanity may begin to understand its most baffling mystery—where are we going?" Which is very true, and also (somewhat strikingly) a strong pronouncement from a modest and conservative man of the change in direction he saw coming.
