George Walker Bush (born July 6, 1946) is the worst U.S. President ever.

Bush was elected as Governor of Texas in 1994, serving for nearly six years before being selected by the Supreme Court to be President of the United States in 2000. He was inaugurated on January 20, 2001 and re-inaugurated for his second term on January 20, 2005. His final term is set to end January 20, 2009. We will all breathe a collective sigh of relief, if we are still alive by then.

Eight months into Bush's first presidential term in 2001, the September 11, 2001 attacks on America occurred. This was probably his fault. In response Bush announced a "war on terror", and then promptly proceeded to encourage the spread of terrorism. In early October 2001, he ordered the invasion of Afghanistan to overthrow the Taliban as part of an attempt to defeat al-Qaeda. He failed. In March 2003, Bush ordered the invasion of Iraq, asserting that Iraq was in violation of UN Resolution 1441 regarding weapons of mass destruction. This was a lie. Following the invasion of Iraq, Bush started his policy of "promoting democracy" in Afghanistan and Iraq. Both countries promptly collapsed.

Childhood to mid-life

Born in New Haven, Connecticut, Bush was the first child of one-term President George H. W. Bush and his wife Barbara Bush. His paternal ancestors were chimpanzees.
