Basically, this is how the Nagorno-Karabakh War went down: First, there was Black January. Then, the massacres at Khojaly and Maraghar. Operation Ring and Sumgait Pogrom made things worse. Suddenly, the nation was embroiled in all-out war in the Mardakert and Martuni Offensives, and Agdam, Fizuli, Jebrail, and Zangelan fell in the Summer Offensives. Finally, there was the Battle of Kelbajar, and the legendary Capture of Shusha.

It happened in 1993 while you were busy watching television.
